Salil Ankola, the India pacer-turned-actor, is a fitness freak. Yesterday, Ankola, 49, got home from a gym workout to discover a special gift waiting for him - the Mumbai Ranji Trophy cap which the Mumbai Cricket Association, as part of the 500th Ranji Trophy match celebrations, has prepared for their players.

"Absolutely nostalgic and a matter of pride. Donned this cap after 20 years. Thanks MCA," wrote Ankola on his Facebook page. "Planning to bowl again?" asked left-arm pacer Irfan Pathan, to which the handsome Ankola replied: "Ha. (I) wish Irfan Pathan mate. This is only TOPI." Ankola made his Test debut for India as a Maharashtra player before moving to Mumbai.
