UP Civic Polls Results: BJP,independents rule the roost in several pockets

As the fight for the municipal seats in UP gets underway, BJP seems to be bagging seats in several places. 652 urban and local bodies across Uttar Pradesh went to polls last month in phases. These votes are the first prominent test for Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath as it is a litmus test of his political influence in the most populous state in India. In Muzaffarpur, Deoria, Etawah and Chitrakoot it is advantage BJP.. In several places independent candidates seem to be ruling the roost.
