The dashing businessman has swept Debbie (played by Charley Webb) off her feet but she is completely oblivious of his plan to develop a golf course on her family's land. 

Tom (Ned Porteous) has been busy planning to buy the Dingle family home so that it can be demolished to make way for a road into the golf development. 

While Zak (Steve Halliwell) has been reluctant to give into Tom's employee Morris and agree to sell the home, tonight's instalment saw Lisa (Jane Cox) begin to be swayed into moving house. 

Morris took the factory worker to a new build house, which he said he would offer to her at cost price. 

Lisa seemed persuaded by the offer and later told Zak that she wanted to leave the home he had left after his after with Joanie Wright. 

As Lisa stormed out of the cottage, Zak was left with a difficult decision - would he give up his home or his family?

If the much-loved Dingles do decide to sell their home then Tom will be victorious with his golf development plans. 

But how will Debbie react when she learns he has made her family homeless and his true identity is finally exposed?

It comes after Tom met with her mother Charity (Emma Atkins) for the first time tonight and confessed his "really wants" his relationship with Debbie to work. 

Will Debbie be able to look past his betrayal or will their short-lived romance be over for good?
