The royal couple, who announced their engagement earlier this week, were in Nottingham for their first official duty together.
Alison Hammond was there for This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, trying to get a glimpse of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Ruth and Eamonn, both 57, explained to viewers at home that the schedule for the show could change whenever Harry and Meghan arrived.
The royal couple arrived on the scene right after a well-timed ad break, leaving Alison, 42, over the moon.
The former Big Brother star was visibly very, very excited to be in the presence of royalty.

“Megs! Megs!”
Alison Hammond
She began shouting for Harry and Meghan to come over, but Harry, 33, rather obviously swerved past her.
Meghan, 36, was on the other side of the crowd but soon came over to where Alison was after shouts of: "Megs! Megs!"
Alison congratulated her on behalf of the This Morning team and Meghan gave a polite: "Thank you."
But Alison's job was done and she celebrated wildly with the people around her while Ruth and Eamonn cheered back in the studio.
The presenter left viewers at home completely divided, with some finding her hilarious and others absolutely mortified.

Live TV disasters

"What an absolute disgrace and childish behaviour of a so-called professional," one tweeted.
Another commented: "Alison is making a complete idiot of herself with Harry and Meghan. I'm sitting here cringing at her shouting out like a lunatic."
A third agreed, continuing: "Alison Hammond is doing my head in. Megs? Are you kidding?"
But others were loving the This Morning regular, saying: "Watching and absolutely creased at Alison trying to get Harry and Meghan's attention."

Someone else tweeted: "Alison Hammond is honestly a national treasure. I'm crying with laughter again."
While another wrote: "I don't think I've ever been more excited about anything than Alison getting a 'thank you' off Meghan Markle. Go girl!"
Prince Harry and Meghan are in Nottingham for their first joint public engagement at a World AIDS Day charity fair.
