Shares of SAIL (number of shares traded: 0.57 crore), Ashok Leyland (0.29 crore), SBI (0.28 crore), Bank of Baroda (0.19 crore), Idea Cellular (0.16 crore), DLF (0.16 crore), Indiabulls Housing Finance (0.16 crore), PNB (0.15 crore), Hindalco Industries (0.14 crore) and NMDC (0.13 crore) were among the most traded securities in early trade on the National Stock Exchange on Friday.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 39.25 points up at 10265.8, while BSE Sensex was up 114.86 points at 33264.21 around 09:41AM (IST).

In the Nifty index, Bosch (up 1.91 per cent), Tata Motors (up 1.35 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.25 per cent), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (up 1.21 per cent), UPL (up 1.14 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (up 1.11 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 0.99 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 0.94 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.89 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 0.88 per cent) were among top gainers

However, Bharti Airtel (down 0.76 per cent), Coal India (down 0.56 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.40 per cent), HDFC Bank (down 0.36 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation (down 0.33 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (down 0.31 per cent), Infosys (down 0.20 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 0.19 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (down 0.09 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.09 per cent) were among losers in the index.
