Would Meghan Markle vote for Brexit? Instagram REVEALS the answer
THE question of whether Meghan Markle would have voted for Brexit was posed during an episode of the BBC’s Brexitcast, with the hosts hinting the answer could be found on Instagram.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement and the pair’s plans to marry at Windsor Castle in May, on Monday.
This prompted the question from the BBC’s Brussels correspondent, is the US actress a “Remoaner” or Brexiteer?
Speaking on the BBC’s Brexitcast, Adam Fleming said: “I thought I had squeezed all possible Brexit angles from the royal wedding.”
Another guest revealed that a historic social media post had surfaced of Meghan Markle on a pro-EU march while visiting London.

If EU leave me now, you take away the biggest part of me
In July 2016, Meghan joined the Brexit argument by posting the image on Instagram, which read: “If EU leave me now, you take away the biggest part of me.”
Prince Harry was introduced to Meghan Markle by a mutual friend in the same month.
Royal experts have warned the future princess she will have to tone down her political views after being active on social media and discussing her views in several interviews.
Meghan’s outspoken views on Brexit and US President Donald Trump could become a “problem”, according to one expert.
Robert Lacey, a historian and biographer of the Queen, said: “You have to go back to Prince Philip to think of a recruit to the family who is so evidently feisty and spiky.
“I can see that this is going to be a real problem in the months and years ahead for her, an existential problem.
“I don’t imagine the queen will be in a rush to have Meghan at Balmoral when Trump visits.”
Meghan Markle has been a critic of the US President, while appearing on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, in 2016, the actress described Mr Trump as “divisive” and “misogynistic”.

She said: “Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think of just female voters alone, right. I think it was in 2012 that the Republic Party lost the female vote by 12 points.
“That’s a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is and so vocal about it, that’s a huge chunk of it.
“You’re not just voting for a woman, if it’s Hilary, just because she’s a woman, but certainly as Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world.”
