Bhatkal's Yusuf Motiya to represent K'taka in National Athletics meet in Jharkhand

Bhatkal: A 26-Year-Old sportsman of the town, Muhammad Yusuf Motiya s/o late Usman Motiya, will be representing Karnataka in the 22nd National Athletic sports meet organized for deaf sportsmen at Ranchi in Jharkhand state. As per the information, Yusuf Motiya is the first player from Bhatkal who has selected for Karnataka team in National level and is the only sportsman from Uttar Kannada district to play in this event.

The '22nd National games of the deaf' will be played at Ranchi in Jharkhand from 1st December to 7th December, where the selected deaf players from all over the country will be participating. 

Yusuf Motiya will be participating in 100 meters, 200 meters and 4×100 relay running.

It might be noted that Muhammad Yusuf Motiya being a general secretary of Bhatkal deaf association, has bagged gold and silver medal along with the huge collection of awards. He was also felicitated by Bhatkalsports.com last year for his various achievements in the sports field.
