Lufthansa flight forced to divert to UK - but airline deny 'unruly passenger' reports
A LUFTHANSA plane on its way to Vancouver was forced land in Manchester due to a medical emergency.
There initially appeared to be some confusion over the reason the passenger plane flight #LH492 from Frankfurt had been diverted.
The airline's official Twitter page responded to queries by saying it was due to an "unruly passenger".
However, these stories were then later corrected by the airline's UK representative who told Express.co.uk that the diversion had been caused by a passenger falling unwell on the flight.
The spokesman said that the other passengers as well as the baggage had been removed from the flight.
However, the plane later resumed its journey to Vancouver.

A spokesman for Manchester Airport told Express.co.uk that the flight had landed safely at around 1pm and there were no injuries to any passengers and the emergency services were not attending the scene.
The passenger was taken to hospital.

Competition authorities are concerned over Lufthansa’s proposed takeover of the collapsed carrier Air Berlin.
The German airline signed a £184 million deal to buy half of the assets of Air Berlin, which included the Niki and LG Walter businesses, together with around 20 planes.
However, the deal still required approval from competition bodies, and since October, EU regulators have voiced concern over what this bulk purchase would do to ticket prices and competition. Lufthansa owns the Austrian Airlines flag carrier.
