New Verna Led Hyundai Motor India Post 10% Sales Growth In November

Hyundai Motor India has ascribed this positive growth to strong performance of the newly launched bestseller Next Gen Verna along with Grand i10, Elite i20 and Creta

Country’s second largest car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India’s domestic sales volume experienced a growth of 10 per cent with 44,008 vehicles sold during the month of November 2017. Hyundai sold 40,016 vehicles for the month of November 2016.

This positive growth has been ascribed to strong performance of the newly launched bestseller Next Gen Verna along with Grand i10, Elite i20 and Creta.

The Next Gen Hyundai Verna that was launched in August 2017, received over 20,000 bookings and more than 150,000 enquiries in a short span of two months.

Rakesh Srivastava, Director - Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said “Due to strong pull of festive demand on the strength of buoyant rural markets, we hope to build on this positive momentum with a cumulative retail sales of 200,000 units for the period September to December 2017.”

“We have also strengthened our export with first dispatch of 2,022 units of Made-in-India Next Gen Verna to Middle East market from November 2017,” added Srivastava.
