New Delhi, Dec 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the Border Security Force (BSF) on its Raising Day and said that the nation was proud of the force.
Greeting BSF personnel and their families, Modi said: "BSF exemplifies fortitude and impeccable service to our nation.
"They protect us from adversity, be it on the borders as well as in times of natural disasters and accidents. We are proud of BSF."
Established on December 1, 1965, the BSF is a paramilitary force responsible for guarding India's land border.
