Captain Joe Root says England are "ready to go" in their defence of the Ashes.
"Even when we have been playing football in the warm-up, the intensity has stepped up," Root told BBC Sport.
"We're in a really good place. We just want to get out there now."

How to watch the Ashes?
The Ashes is live on BT Sport this year after they beat Sky Sports to the rights.
Coverage of the first Test begins on BT Sport 1 at 11pm Wednesday 22 November and runs until 8am.
BT Sport 1 will show highlights from the first day at 9am on Thursday 23 November, and they will be repeated on BT Sport 2 at 12.30pm.
BT Sport are also offering free highlights on BTSport.com and the BT Sport app from 7pm after each day’s play.
How to get BT Sport
Those with a Sky box can watch BT Sport by signing up to a 12-month package, with prices varying depending on whether you opt for SD or HD.
BT Sport is also accessible for BT TV customers for a small monthly fee, while it is also accessible through the BT Sport and live stream online player for BT broadband customers.
