IU 1st year honours admission test begins Friday

Kushtia: A five-day first year honours admission tests of Islamic University (IU) for the academic session 2017-18 will begin on Friday.
The tests will be held for 33 departments under eight units. Around 39 aspirants will compete for each seat in the tests.
The date of the tests under different units are scheduled to be held as ‘F’ & ‘E’ unit tests on Friday, ‘D’ unit on Saturday, ‘G’ & ‘H’ units on Sunday, ‘A’ & ‘B’ units on Monday and ‘C’ unit on Tuesday.

The admission tests will be held under four shifts as follows, first shift at 9am-10am, second shift at 11am-12pm, third shift at 1.30pm-2.30pm and fourth shift at 3.30pm-4.30pm respectively.

Over 87,000 aspirants applied against 2,275 seats of the university.
