Man gets 7-year jail for sexually abusing minor girl

KOLAR: Second Additional District and Sessions Judge B S Rekha has sentenced a man to seven years of imprisonment after finding him guilty of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl in 2014.
He was also slapped with a fine of `15,000. According to Srinivasapura police, Reddppa (36) of Hodali village had kidnapped a minor girl on April 8, 2014,  and sexually assaulted her.

It is alleged that Reddappa and his relatives Venkateshappa, Anjinappa and Srinivasalu were involved in the abduction.After trial, district judge B S Rekha convicted Reddappa and acquitted other three people.
