AVENGERS INFINITY WAR unleashed a new trailer but did you spot the first fleeting look at Thanos' terrifying daughter Proxima Midnight as she tries to kill Captain America and Vision?

One tiny sequence in the new trailer reveals three massive plot points.
It reveals the return of one hero transformed into his darker alter-ego.
It reveals the much-rumoured third one of The Mad Titan's terrifying daughters after Gamora and Nebula.
It also possibly reveals the first major death of what is promised to be a devastating and fatal end for many of our favourite characters across all the Marvel movies so far.

The scene appears to be in some sort of station or major public building in New York.
An earlier scene shows Vision in human form with Scarlet Witch. Fans will, of course, be used by now to sweet scenes setting up a tragic pay-off.
The main moment comes when Proxima Midnight appears in all her fearsome glory and hurls a glowing multi-pronged spear. But at whom?
Step out of the shadows, please, Nomad.

This seems to be the first time Chris Evans appears in the movie as the outlaw fugitive Steve Rogers will become.
Another scene also hints that it is Tony Stark who sets aside their differences to call on his old ally to rush to teh defence of Vision.
Fans had already guessed that Paul Bettany's character was in the greatest danger, since he has an Infinity Stone embedded in his forehead.
Unfortunately, not for long.

The scene cuts to a shot of Vision screaming on the ground as he is pinned down and a metal clamp rips the Mind Stone from his head.
Thanos is then shown gleefully inserting the glowing blue gem into his Infinity Gauntlet alongside the Space Stone.
Does this mean Vision will die?

It would be the most logical outcome and account for Tony Stark's devastated tears. After all Vision only exists because the Mind Stone fused with the AI JARVIS.
However, Bettany seemed to refer to himself filming Avengers 4. With multiple rumours that the Infinity War sequekl will feature an alternate timeline and time travel, it coul d still mean that Vision dies but is seen again in the past.
All will be revealed in 2019, but fans can see the first part of the saga next spring.
