Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho makes BIZARRE claim about Romelu Lukaku
JOSE MOURINHO has made a strange claim about striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian powerhouse has only scored one goal in his last 11 games, in contrast to the 16 he struck in the opening 13 games of the season for club and country.
Lukaku had a glorious chance to end his drought last night but he dwelled on the ball in the box against Watford.
United were 3-0 up at the time but were pegged back to 3-2, before Jesse Lingard wrapped up a 4-2 win to save Lukaku’s blushes.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho joked that it may be his striker’s footwear which is stopping him finding the net.
And the Portuguese boss has put a call out for help.

He needs to be paid the right money so he goes back to goals.
"I think he needs a big contract with boots," Mourinho said.
"At the moment, he has no contract with any brand, that is why he is wearing black boots!
"He needs to be paid the right money so he goes back to goals.
"Jokes apart, he works amazingly well for the team. I would never blame him for missing an easy chance, never.
