Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter, is in India this week, and yesterday she urged the country to close its yawning gender gap in the job market, telling a business summit in her biggest foreign mission yet that this would bring huge economic benefits.
The First Daughter urged India to seize the untapped potential in women in a speech before Prime Minister Narendra Modi and business leaders in Hyderabad.
But while her comments might have been interesting, her style choice left a lot to be desired.

Poppy red in colour, the dress featured rose lace on the top and was trimmed with black lace on the sleeves.
A red circle trim highlighted Ivanka’s slim waist, and the bottom half of the skirt had a red dotty pattern.
Small white flowers were also scattered on the skirt of the dress.

She wore her hair in loose tousled waves and a centre parting.
Ivanka's dress choice was in stark contrast to one she wore earlier this week which featured sexy cutouts.
The mother-of-three, who is married to Jared Kushner, chose a brocade gown with green, purple and yellow flowers printed on it. The colour scheme may well have been a nod to India’s flag, which is yellow, white and green.
The dress was fairly conservative in the bottom, reaching way past her knees with elegant, flowing pleats.

However, the high neck top featured a cut out beneath which some cleavage could be seen.
The former model is visiting India in her role as advisor to the US President.
She shook hands with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after they inaugurated the Global Entrepreneurship Summmit, taking place at the Hyderabad convention centre (HICC), in Hyderabad.
Ivanka is in the country to support the Global Entrepreneurship Summit’s effort to boost female entrepreneurs from India.
