Eligibility Criteria for Nurses & Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• District Consultant (NTCP): Candidates should be Post Graduate in Public Health or Social Sciences or Management or related field from a recognized institution/University. Or, MBBS/BDS candidates with at least 2 years of Experience.
• D.E.O (NTCP), Data EntryOperators: Graduate in any Discipline.One-year diploma in computer application.
• Consultant Medicine (NPHCE): MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India. Or, Diploma in Geriatric Medicine.
• Nurses (NPHCE): Bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by Nursing Council of India.
• Physiotherapist (NPHCE): Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T).
• Hospital Attendants, Sanitary Attendants (NPHCE): Matriculation.
• Physician (NPPC): MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Community Nurse (NMHP): B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognized by Nursing Council of India.
• Consultant Psychiatrist (NMHP): MD in Psychiatry or Diploma in Psychiatry or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Epidemiologist/ Public Health Specialist (NPCDCS), District Programme Coordinator Medical Officer: MBBS degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Staff Nurses: B.Sc. degree / Diploma in Nursing recognized by Nursing Council of India.
• Laboratory Technicians: 10+2, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
• Specialist - (Cardiology / M.D. General Medicine) or General physician: MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Counsellor: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Degree/Diploma in counseling/Health Education/Mass Communication.
• Audiologist: Technical person with 4 years graduation in Audiology & Speech language Pathology.
• Audiometric Assistant: Technical person with 1-year diploma in Audiology.
• ENT Surgeon:MS (ENT) or DORL.
• Instructor for Hearing Impaired Children: Minimum SSC/HSC. Indian Sign Language (ISL) C Certificate or DISLIC (Diploma in Sign Language Interpreter Course).
• Consultant (NPPCD): BAMS/BHMS from Institution recognized by Goa Board of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy.
• Administrative Assistant (NLEP): Graduate in Commerce from a recognized University. Diploma in Computer application with Tally from recognized institute.
