The President next visited Netaji Bhawan where he was welcomed by Krishna Bose, the niece of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He took a tour of the ancestral house along with Governor Tripathi. Later, he went to the Bose Institute where he urged the students to grab opportunities presented by digital explosion.


President Kovind also asked the students to replicate the past successes of its famous scientific entrepreneurs. He was invited to attend the closing ceremony of centenary celebrations of the Bose Institute. This premier research institute was established by Acharya Jagadish.
President is on a 4-day visit to West Bengal, Mizoram and Nagaland after he assumed office. He arrived at Kolkata on Tuesday.
He was felicitated by the West Bengal government at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Tuesday where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee presented the President with one of her paintings.
