(MENAFN Editorial) (Los Angeles, California) Dr. Norman Quintero and Iglesia Getsemani from Tustin, California gave away over 600 turkeys and served Thanksgiving dinners to more than 200 families.

The event was held at the headquarters of Iglesia Getsemani located at 1411 Warner Avenue in Tustin, California on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Folks started to arrive at 12 noon for the turkey distribution and the first dinner was served at around 7:30 pm.

'Thanksgiving is about gratitude and we take time and gather as a family to thank God for all He has done for us. It is also a time in need for those with limited resources and we are thankful that we were able to serve over 600 turkeys and had dinner with over 200 families, said Dr. Norman Quintero, pastor of Iglesia Getsemani.

'I feel it's one of our responsibilities to give back to the community. We must always remember to be thankful for what we have, but just as important, this is the time we come together and help the less fortunate and make sure everyone has a turkey on the table for Thanksgiving, continued Dr. Quintero.
