Bridge with barrage near Balgar soon

Sirsi: MLA Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, on Monday, performed bhoomi puja for construction of bridge with barrage, at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, near Balgar, under Sadashivalli Gram Panchayat limits, in Sirsi taluk.

 

Road construction

Speaking, after performing puja, Kageri said, the 30x14 ft bridge will be constructed within four months, he added.

On the occasion, he also flagged off two km road construction from Sadashivalli via Kuglakuli to Hubballi road, under ‘Namma Grama, Namma Raste’ project, at an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crore.

He also performed bhoomi puja for construction of Sadashivalli panchayat’s new building.

Zilla Panchayat member Usha Hegde, Sadashivalli panchayat president Godavari Naik, member Gajanan Bhat, M R Naik and others were present.
