Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid star thinks PSG forward Neymar will seal stunning transfer

CRISTIANO RONALDO reportedly thinks it is only a matter of time before Real Madrid sign PSG star Neymar.

Real Madrid are being heavily linked with a move for Neymar as a replacement for Ronaldo, who has managed to score just twice in La Liga so far this season.

Numerous reports have claimed the Brazilian has failed to settle in the French capital, despite him flourishing under the tutelage of Unai Emery.

And Spanish website Don Balon say that Cristiano Ronaldo has now been informed that Real do expect to get their man.

For years now, the 25-year-old has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu - despite his Barcelona past.

Neymar even underwent a medical with Los Blancos in 2013 before signing for their fierce rivals instead.

The same documents from that examination were actually used by Barcelona as well.

Florentino Perez is known for being a president who is always determined to get what he wants.

And Don Balon say Ronaldo expects the 70-year-old to make Neymar one of his last Galactico signings.

The Brazil international is expected to seal his move at the start of the 2018/2019 season.

Meanwhile, comments made by Neymar’s father will no doubt add more fuel to the flames.

Neymar SNR was coy when quizzed on a move to the capital - but refused to rule it out.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid want Neymar at the Bernabeu

“Things can change a lot,” he told Fox Sports.

“Right now, there is no thought [of a move to Real Madrid] and answering this is just discussing an impossibility.

“I can't talk not about negotiations in five or six years.

“Neymar has a lengthy contract at PSG and has just arrived. We've been here for three months and there is already talk of an exit.

“It is difficult to talk about these things.”
