Claiming improvement in law and order situation in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his government will create an `industrial hub’ that would make a mark in the country and will become a cynosure of all eyes. Addressing poll rallies in Fatehpur and Jhansi on Friday, Yogi said that contours of an industrial scenario has started taking shape in Uttar Pradesh as many industrial houses have started showing their interest in investing in th state.
“This has been possible due to improvement in law and order. The BJP Government has sent a message that criminals have no place in the state. And its impact is visible now. Once industries start investing, youth will start getting employment. This will be a great turnaround story for Uttar Pradesh,” the CM said in Fatehpur.
Yogi said that the government has prepared a plan to give employment to youth. “Soon we will start recruitment drive to fill over 4 lakh posts. Besides, over 1.5 lakh posts of policemen will be filled in a systematic manner. Your faith on us has given a confidence to do better,” he said.
In Jhansi, the Chief Minister said that if the BJP got a majority in local body elections, it would make the city clean and bring it at par with Ayodhya.
“Opposition parties, particularly Congress and Samajwadi Party, have ruined the local bodies. We will strengthen them monetarily as well as infrastructure wise,” the CM said.
As former Union Minister in Manmohan Singh government Pradeep Jain `Aditya’ is Congress Mayoral candidate from Jhansi, Yogi’s barbs were pointed more towards Congress as he questioned as what did the UPA Governments do for Bundelkhand in their successive regimes.
“We have got an opportunity and will try to improve situation here,” Yogi said.
