NARAYANGANJ: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) arrested a suspected militant of the “Sarwar-Tamim Group” of the Neo-JMB from Narayanganj’s Rupganj on early Wednesday (Nov 29).
The arrestee is identified as Ishahak. He is a cloth trader.
A press release issued by RAB-11 on Wednesday noon said, on information, RAB conducted a raid in Rupganj and detained Ishahak with extremism related books and leaflets.
According to the press release, Ishahak was a resident of Belabo upazila of Narshingdi. He was a fugitive and facing a case in Narayanganj’s Bondar police station. Legal action is being taken against him.
