Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure posts Q2 net loss of Rs 0.33 cr
The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 0.33 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 0.24 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 12.29 per cent at Rs 154.98 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 176.70 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 13.38 per cent to Rs 145.86 crore from Rs 168.39 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 428.89 per cent at Rs 2.38 crore versus (Sep'16 Rs 0.45 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 3.45 per cent to Rs 10.08 crore as against Rs 10.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 9.98 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 14.68 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.61 crore, while Taxation decreased by 3.70 per cent at Rs -0.78 crore (Sep'16 Rs -0.81 crore).
