Malcolm Young funeral: Brian Johnson in tears as he says goodbye to AC/DC co-founder
AC/DC CO-FOUNDER Malcolm Young was laid to rest yesterday during a touching funeral in Sydney.
The talented musician aged 64 passed away on November 18, surrounded by his family, after a three-year battle with dementia.
Young's casket was taken from St Mary's Cathedral in Australia while his brother, Angus, stood nearby holding his famous guitar.
His rock-star colleagues, including Gary 'Angry' Anderson, Brian Johnson and former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd, were in attendance to mourn the loss of their friend.
The entrance of the cathedral was lined with fans who arrived to pay their respect to Young, who was considered one of the greatest rhythmic guitarists of all time.

Brian, 70, appeared to be distraught by the sad occasion and found comfort from his wife, Brenda, as they left the ceremony.
Guests at the funeral were given guitar picks with the date of Young's birth and death on them when they entered the cathedral.
A statement released by the guitarist's family confirmed the news earlier this month.
