Five women candidates booked for violating code of conduct in UP

Muzaffarnagar: Five women candidates from different parties, contesting the local body election in Uttar Pradesh's Budhana, have been booked for violating the model code of conduct, reports PTI from Muzaffarnagar.

The candidates, who were booked on Friday, are vying for the Budhana Nagarpalika chairperson post, an official said.

The list includes actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's sister-in- law Saba, who is being fielded by the SP.

The others are Bala Tyagi (BJP), Sadhna Tyagi (RLD), Nasreen Rahi (BSP) and Rehana Begum (Congress), said Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kumar Bhupender.
