Allahabad : Saint John’s Academy celebrated the 20th school sports day, on Tuesday, with pomp and show of several scintillating performances.
Mr. Valentine Massey, Principal St. John’s Co-ed School was invited as the chief guest of the event while The Directors, Mr C.V. Innes and Mrs D. Innes also graced the occasion with their presence as estmeed guests
The student competitors, who were divided in groups of four contingents, namely, Panda,Tiger,Dolphin and Eagle, participated in the events with great fervour.
The show events ranged from the house wise march past, to myriad forms of PT displays.The various pyramid formations left the audience spellbound.
The tiny tots captivated the hearts of the audience by their cute races. The spectators were left with their mouth open at the cut throat competition in the relay races and Tug-O-War.
The day came to an end with the prize distribution ceremony. Panda house was adjudged the Champion House. The Chief guest Mr Valentine Massey addressed the gathering and the efforts of all the students and teachers involved.
