The former England football captain's marriage was said to have been on the rocks before Coleen, 31, revealed that she would continue staying with him and remain in the marriage as well, despite conflicting reports in the media.

Now, it is learnt that Rooney, 32, was informed about her post only minutes before she uploaded it on social media. A source told British tabloid, The Sun: "Coleen didn't tell Wayne about the post until a few minutes before she put it up. It's her way of dealing with everything. Putting their problems out there is part of Wayne's punishment."
