SP’s violations of poll code charge baseless, says UP BJP chief

Hitting out at former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav BJP State president Mahendra Nath Pandey said that allegation of Samajwadi Party’s national president of violation of model code of conduct during elections is baseless and lacks evidence.

"Samajwadi Party leaders is time and again talking about violation of model code of conduct in the on- going civic elections is false and baseless. The BJP Government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is following the directives to the T,” Dr Pandey said in a statement issued here on Sunday.

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had alleged that BJP was misusing Government agencies during the elections. He even said that Government officers were acting as BJP agents.

BJP State president said that BJKP has already issued a vision document. WE have told people as what our agenda is and have asked them to vote as per our vision. Once BJP will come to power in wards and corporations we will fulfill the promises in letter and in spirit,” he said.

About the elections he said the BJKP has done exceedingly well and the response is very encouraging. “In last two phases so far elections for 11 Municipal Corporations, 122 Nagar Palika and 286 Nagar Panchayat is over and BJP is set to sweep these elections,” he said.

The next and last phase of polling will be held on November 29.
