Monday November 27

Arsenal new appointment

22:15: Arsenal could reportedly have a replacement for Dick Law as soon as next month.

Law resigned from his position as the club’s chief transfer negotiator in September, with the Gunners carrying out a major rebuilding project behind the scenes.

And now according to the Daily Mail, the north London outfit could add Raul Sanllehi to their ranks too.

Sanllehi, who previously worked as Barcelona’s director of football, could be appointed as early as next month, the Mail adds.

He was due to leave the Nou Camp on Friday, however he stood down from his position earlier this evening.

Lawrenson’s prediction

20:46: BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has backed Arsenal to beat Huddersfield 3-0 on Wednesday night.

“Arsenal pinched their win over Burnley, but I think they will find this game much easier,” he told BBC Sport.

“Huddersfield gave Manchester City a bit of a fright on Sunday before losing to Raheem Sterling's late goal, but that monumental effort will have taken a lot out of them.

“It is going to be very difficult for the Terriers to get back up to speed and put in a similar defensive performance to keep the Gunners out - I don't see it happening.”

Klopp deserves Wenger criticism - Hislop

16.35: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would have received more criticism if he dropped his star players like Jurgen Klopp did against Chelsea on Saturday, says Shaka Hislop.

Wenger was slammed for dropping record-signing Alexandre Lacazette for the trips to Liverpool and Manchester City earlier this season and Hislop says it is about time Klopp received the same flak for making a similar decision.

“Yes, you have to wonder why, we’ve criticised Arsene Wenger no end for not playing his best players in the biggest games,” he said on ESPN FC.

“Now all of a sudden Jurgen Klopp is doing it at a time that you didn’t expect and is hard to explain.”

Arsenal overhaul

13.50: Arsenal are set to cash in on Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere in January.

All three are out of contract in the summer.

And Express Sport understands the Gunners will consider reasonable offers for all three.

Jack Wilshere admitted he would have to leave in January if he remained out for the reckoning.

And Ozil and Sanchez are set to leave after failing to agree new terms.

Leapfrogging Spurs significant - Michallik

10.25: Arsenal being above Tottenham in the Premier League table is significant because it stops people raving about Mauricio Pochettino’s side for the time being, says Janusz Michallik.

Michallik has warned Arsenal fans not to get ahead of themselves just yet, but says they deserve to be spoken about in the same bracket as Spurs.

"I think it’s significant that they are in front of Spurs," he told ESPN FC

“In the last couple of weeks I think we were all talking about Pochettino and how great he has been, everything was about him.

“I don’t think there is any reason for us to go negative at Arsenal right now.

“Yes the collapse may still come but it hasn’t (yet), so at the moment they will be happy going fourth.”

Real Madrid know Sanchez plan

08:50: Real Madrid think Arsenal WILL lose Alexis Sanchez this summer.

The 28-year-old's contract expires at the end of the campaign.

And Mundo Deportivo say Real think the Chile international will not be signing a contract extension.

PSG, Manchester City and Real Madrid themselves have all been tipped to sign Sanchez.

Wenger makes Ozil and Manchester United claim

08:30: Arsene Wenger thinks Arsenal star Mesut Ozil could miss the Gunners' clash with Manchester United.

"I don’t know, I haven’t even seen him," he said.

"The doctor came to see me and said he had to travel back home. He was in the hotel with us.

"He travelled up with us, then travelled back. We brought [Ainsley] Maitland-Niles up who arrived at 1pm because we had only 17 players."

Arsenal news LIVE updates: Alexis Sanchez could go to Real Madrid or PSG

08:15: Neymar plot

08:20: Complicated reports say PSG want to sign Alexis Sanchez as a replacement for Neymar.

The Ligue 1 giants only signed Neymar from Barcelona in August.

But the Sunday Mirror say they are prepared to accept a bid from Real Madrid at the end of the season.

And they want Sanchez to be his marquee replacement at the Parc des Princes.
