Meghan Markle's Suits co-stars share congratulations after engagement news

Cape Town - Meghan Markle's Suits family have taken to social media to send the bride-to-be well wishes. 

On Monday morning Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry had asked for his actress girlfriend's hand in marriage and that she said yes.

Markle has starred in Suits as Rachel Zane for seven seasons. In October she announced that she will no be returning for an eighth season on the popular legal drama. 

Patrick J. Adams who plays her love interest in the series lead the congratulations. 

Retweeting the wedding news he wrote: “She said she was just going out to get some milk...”

He followed up with this heartfelt message: “Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.”

Sarah Rafferty who plays her best friend, Wendell Pierce who plays her TV dad, Gabriel Macht and the creator Aaron Korsh also sent their well wishes.
