The 26-year-old already has a triple ton to his name which he scored against Maharashtra in Pune and was also highest first-class score.
November has been a sensational month for the Karnataka opener, where he has managed to score more than 1000 runs - 1033 to be precise.
The season didn't exactly start in the best of ways for him as he scored 31 against Assam before bagging a pair against Hyderabad, however since then the opener has been in the form of his life.
He scored a triple ton and then followed it up with scores of 176, 23, a 73-ball 90, 133 not out, 173, 134.
Agarwal will have further chances to add to his tally as Karnataka have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
He needs just 382 runs to break VVS Laxman's record of most runs in a Ranji Trophy season.
He has minimum of two innings and if Karnataka manage to reach the finals, then he has 8 innings, which makes Laxman's record quite reachable for youngsters.
Agarwal has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPSG). He has shown glimpses of his talent in the IPL but is yet to take the stage by fire, something he has the talent for.
He was also part of the India Under-19 World Cup team in 2010. He has also represented India A, coached by Dravid.
