ISL 2017, Mumbai City FC vs FC Goa, Highlights: As It Happened

Full Time: Mumbai City FC beat FC Goa 2-1 to register their first win of the season in Mumbai.

Goa are throwing the kitchen sink at Mumbai in the last minutes with crosses coming in from both flanks. Goa will feel cheated about the disallowed goal but there is not much they can do about it. 

Thiago Santos tries to run through the Goa defense but Seriton recovers to clear. Goa on the attack now with 4 minutes of stoppage time 

Tempers flying as Edu and Gerson come face to face after the Mumbai defender brings him down near the box. Goa did not see the second goal coming and now have to find yet another equaliser. Dangerous position for the freekick here just outside the box. 

GOAL: Mumbai City FC 2-1 FC Goa - Thiago Santos drives in from the right and squeezes it in with hard low shot to the far post past Kattimani. Horrible defending by Goa. 

Lanza or Manuel Bruno cuts in on his left foot from the right and curls it towards goal and it dips sharply but Amrinder just about clears it. Goa are going for the win with minutes to go.

A draw here will take Goa to the top of the table for the night at least. The standings might change tomorrow depending on the results.

GOAL: Mumbai City FC 1-1 FC Goa. Superb give and go move between Arana and Coro before Arana volleys it home past Amrinder to equalise. 

Emana has been absolutely brilliant for Mumbai today, whether in defense or in attack he has led from the front. 10 more minutes to go in regulation time before Mumbai get their first points of the season. 

Emana once again leading the attack and his pass to Balwant is a good one but the cross back into the box is not as accurate and Goa are thankful for that. 

Mumbai almost ensuring there are more than a couple of players on each Goa attacker. 

Goa moving up in attack with Mandar and Edu, but the Indian midfielder is surrounded by Mumbai defenders. 

Emana almost through on goal again, but Chinglensana makes an important deflection and Kattimani clears confidently this time. 

Emana was asking for support on that run, but there was none around him - a problem Mumbai have had all evening and will want to look into it before their next game. 

Emana almost bulldozed his way through the heart of the Goa defense, as Balwant was stranded offside - but Chinglensana had it covered 

Seriton closes out Balwant Singh as the striker uses all his strength to get onto the ball. 

Lovely ball out to Arana and Ruidas clears for a corner. Amrinder though was coming for that and they should not have conceded the corner.  

Goian clears that with his head and the odd bounce had Arana's foot near his ribs. Dangerous but the defender comes out unscathed. 

20 minutes left in the game and Goa have it all to do if they want to remain unbeaten after the first two rounds of the Indian Super League 

Everton pokes it past Chinglensana but he has no support and his short is easily collected by Kattimani who has not had a good tournament so far. 

Bad decision from the ref on the sideline as Goa had equalised with a fantastic move involving Arana who played Coro in and he dinked it beyond the reach of Amrinder. The visitors are not impressed. 

Edu's crossfield pass to Arana is met perfectly with a right footed volley that flashes through the box. No one at the far post to touch it in though. 

Goa have to up the ante and find an equaliser. Mandar up the left wing crosses for Coro and company, but his ball is out of anyone's reach.

At the other end, Mumbai move up briskly but Balwant's shot again letting his team down. That has been the case for most of the game today. 

Coro drives through Mumbai's midfield with some effort and plays it to Edu who brings Mandar into the game, but he is crowded out in the corner. 

Mandar and Coro have been combining well in the beginning of the second half and will hope to turn that into goals. 

Goa have been dominating the possession still and are looking more comfortable on the ball than their opponents, but both teams need to composed in front of goal if they want to break the deadlock. 

Lots off attacking football in the first ten minutes of the second half from both sides. But both defenses have held on as the finishing has not been up to the mark so far

Rozario moves up from the back, and Everton takes a shot from distance but it is well over Kattimani.
