Oxford Circus tube terror: Olly Murs trapped in horrific London chaos ‘Heart is pounding’

Oxford Circus Tube station was immediately evacuated as panicked Black Friday shoppers were screaming across the streets of the UK capital over reports of gunfire.
The Voice UK judge alerted his 7.58 million followers from department store Selfridges when customers claimed to hear gun shots ringing through the shop floor.
“F**k everyone get out of @Selfridges now gun shots!! I’m inside,” he wrote.
“Really not sure what’s happened! I’m in the back office... but people screaming and running towards exits!”

Fans flocked to the popstar's account to comfort the chart-topping hitmaker.
“No Olly please stay safe, I know how your feeling right now as I was at the Manchester bombing , I’m crying,” gasped one follower as another followed: “Please please Stay safe!!! I’d stay in the back until it’s definitely safe. Love ya long time.”
“Be careful Olly, please stay safe. Let us know when you’re ok, and everyone as well,” wrote a third.

Strictly Come Dancing star Alexandra Burke tweeted: “Oh god babe please be safe xx.”
An office worker trapped in a nearby building said: "We think there have been shootings at Oxford street.
"We can hear it from work, security have locked us in. People have been running down the streets screaming."

However, Met Police have played down the chaos on Twitter, posting: “We have not located any trace of suspects, evidence of shots fired or casualties. Officers still on scene.
“If you are in a building stay there, if you are on the street in #OxfordStreet leave the area. Officers continue to search the area. More updates as soon as we have them.”
Murs has since shared: “Being told no shots in Selfridges! Have no idea the whole store went crazy!”
He added: "I’m safe and in hotel with loads of people! So many different stories flying around just hope everyone is safe."
