Pro-quota stir leader and convener of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) Hardik Patel has been given Y category security following security threat on him.
A Central security team has also conducted survey at his residence in Ahmedabad’s Shilaj area. The security experts carried out inspection around the 24-year-old Patidar leader’s house who has declared support to the Opposition Congress party just two days back.
Initially Hardik had denied taking security, but later on he agreed on taking Y category security after insistence from his family and friends. Based on report of Central Intelligence Bureau (CBI), he was given security from Central Government. According to sources, the inspection surrounding his house was a routine process as whoever would be given Y category security, such procedure conducted.
