AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Thursday heading for Washington on a working visit during which he will meet with several senior US administration officials.

The King will also meet leaders and members of committees at the United States Senate and the House of Representatives.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
