The Honor 8 Pro is actually quite close to the OnePlus 5 in most respects, but it will cost you less. It’s certainly the phone to buy in the sub-30k segment.

It lacks in the speed department though.

The Moto G5 Plus has a better camera than almost every phone on this list. It’s also cheaper than a handful of them and will get Android updates longer than them. Considering all that, and the fact that it’s smooth and fast, it earns its place on this list. The Moto G5 Plus is amongst the best Android smartphones in the market, and amongst the best smartphones for those with budgets under Rs. 30,000.

The Honor 9i is the only phone in India that has dual-cameras on the back and front, and a 18:9 display. It’s priced at Rs. 17,999 and would be one for the selfie lovers too. It’s not the fastest phone out there, but it’ll handle your day to day tasks effectively. It’s a worthy competitor for the mid-ranged buyer.

The “Lite” version of the Honor 8 is now available at a reduced price. And at this price point, it’s certainly worth considering. It has a commendable camera, and offers dependable performance, along with a work day’s battery life. Seems legit.
