Lewis Hamilton: F1 champion discusses weaknesses ahead of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
LEWIS HAMILTON won his fourth Formula One title four weeks ago but the Mercedes driver is not resting on his laurels as he prepares for the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Hamilton was gifted the 2017 World Drivers' Championship in Mexico City when Sebastian Vettel failed to finish in the top two.
And he celebrated that achievement, his third success since joining Mercedes from McLaren, by jetting to Miami, the Caribbean and Peru.
Hamilton is expected to challenge for glory once again next year as he looks to go level with Juan Manuel Fangio on five titles.

There are plenty of places to improve
Opening up ahead of Sunday's race at the Yas Marina Circuit though, the 32-year-old has admitted he still has weaknesses to address.
"There are plenty of places to improve," Hamilton explained to The Telegraph.
"The second half of this season was almost perfect.

"But can I apply that to the first half? It’s a tough order, but that’s my goal.”
However, Hamilton admits his achievements in F1 go way beyond what he could have ever expected.
“Yeah, this has all gone better than planned," he added.
"This is all way, way beyond my imagination.”
