A crazy fan threatened Maanayata Dutt that he would cut his hand if she didn't speak to him. This happened after the star-wife posted an image of hers on Instagram
We all love and admire Bollywood celebrities but the trouble starts sinking in when the admiration starts turning into an obsession. With social media acting as an easy medium to connect with their favourite actors, fans tend to cross the line and go overboard with their obsessive behaviour. And this time, it is Sanjay Dutt's wife, Maanayata Dutt, who gained the attention of such a fan on social media.

Maanayata, who shares several memorable moments with her family on Instagram, posted a beautiful selfie of herself on the website. She looked beautiful decked up in black with dark eye-make-up on her light eyes. While fans couldn't stop praising her beauty, there was a threatening comment by a user forcing the star-wife to chat with him. He wrote, "I will cut my hand for you chat with me (sic)."
However, this is not the first time that a fan has threatened to do such a horrendous thing. Some stalk celebs on social media write emails or even go to the extent of travelling overseas to meet their favourite star. Varun Dhawan was recently harassed by a fan in this manner. A female fan bombarded his phone with Whatsapp messages and the actor blocked her number. Days later, an unidentified caller threatened Varun she would commit suicide if he didn't speak to her.

Horrified by this behaviour, the 'Badlapur' actor lodged a police complaint and also filed a complaint with the Cyber cell.
