Zaheer Khan married Sagarika Ghatge and later hosted a cocktail party in a hotel in Mumbai on Thursday. The Indian bowling legend tied the knot with the Bollywood actress on Thursday in Mumbai. They had announced their engagement back in May earlier this year. The couple is reported to host a wedding reception party on November 27 in Mumbai. The first marriage photo was shared by Anjana Sharma, the Head of Business and Brand marketing for Zaheer Khan’s Prosport Fitness Studio. The former India cricketer and Ghagte were engaged in May and the wedding reception will be held on November at Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai.

The couple were first seen during Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's wedding in 2016 and since then they have not kept their love story under the wraps.

Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge had a small function at their registered marriage and Bollywood actress Vidya Malavade was also present at the function.

Zaheer Khan's longtime friend and team-mate Ashish Nehra was also present at the wedding. Nehra and Zaheer were the two frontline seamers for India during the first half of the first decade and have played together in limited-overs cricket for India.

Sagarika Ghagte is a Bollywood actress who has acted in various films. Her shot to fame was her role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie Chak De! India.

After Sagarika confirmed that Zaheer has put a ring on her finger on social media, the Chak De actor had told indianexpress.com that they will soon celebrate their engagement and decide a date for their nuptials. The couple was as good as their word.

Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge recently got engaged in May. Zaheer is leading Delhi Daredevils in the on-going season of IPL. However an injury has kept him out from action in Delhi's last two matches.
