In his address, the CM took several jibes at the leaders of the teacher association. On one occasion, he said that teachers are habitual on giving long lectures but he wondered whether the leaders of teachers are now in a position to give lectures. On various demands of teachers, Rawat jokingly said that some of the demands are non serious but he understands the compulsions of association to raise them. On plethora of demands of teachers, he said that the way private schools are increasing in the State and Government schools are closing, it would be tough for everyone in future.
