Steadview Capital sells Syngene Int'l shares for Rs 100-cr

Steadview Capital today offloaded 19.5 lakh of Syngene International, a leading contract research and manufacturing firm, for a little over Rs 100 crore through open market transactions.

The were purchased by and Gaoling Fund LP.


According to the block deal data available with the BSE, Steadview Capital Mauritius sold 19.5 lakh shares, amounting to 0.97 per cent stake, of the leading contract research and manufacturing firm.

The were sold on an average price of Rs 515, valuing the at Rs 100.42 crore.

In December last year, Steadview Capital had picked up 30 lakh of Syngene International for over Rs 172 crore.

As per the latest shareholding disclosure with the exchange, Steadview Capital held 1.5 per cent stake in Syngene International.

of Syngene International today closed at Rs 518.60 per unit on BSE, down 0.64 per cent from the previous close.
