PM to monitor works at Kedarnath

Prime minister Narendra Modi said that he too will monitor the works at Kedarnath via a drone. The prime minister said this to the State chief secretary Utpal Kumar Singh who also informed the prime minister Narendra Modi about the status of works being undertaken in Kedarnath. During the video-conferencing on PRAGATI on Wednesday, he said that work is on in full swing along the Saraswati river in Kedarnath. Work on the Mandakini river has been approved and will be started in the near future. Work at Garudchatti has also been approved with survey work currently underway in the area. Closed circuit television cameras have also been installed in the area to enable the chief secretary to monitor them from his office in Dehradun.
