There have already been rumours suggesting that some of the show’s foliage is constructed from papier-mâché and Amir Khan himself expected the jungle to be a more luxurious affair. 

Now, one eagle-eyed viewer believes that he has spotted concrete evidence that the reality programme’s tower challenge from the first episode is a “fake”. 

Facebook user Tom Smith spotted one blink-and-you-miss-it filming angle which suggests that the gigantic structure is not as high as it first seems. 

Alongside a grab of a grounded woman, who appears to be the same size as Jennie McAlpine and Jamie Lomas, he wrote: “Bottom left that woman’s rather large considering she’s 320 plus foot lower than the celebs!!!”(sic)

He added to The Mirror: “So I literally caught it out the corner of my eye, rewinded and paused it.

“I wasn’t looking to expose the show I was merely pointing out that it looked suspicious.”

The social media user added that he has been the subject of “hate” after posting his quip. 

However, it appears it is all just camera perspective, as wide shots of the dramatic scene prove this. 

The newspaper also writes that Brisbane locals gave a first-hand account of the trial, explaining that it was “terrifying” to watch. 

This latest debacle comes after Jack Maynard left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last night after a media furore surrounding his past tweets. 

The 22-year-old came under heavy criticism due to racist and abusive posts on his Twitter account from 2012. 

His representative confirmed last night that he would be leaving the process, adding: “Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show. 

“Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far.”
