Domestic equity markets opened higher on Wednesday following global cues.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Titan Company (Rs 105.54 crore), HDFC (Rs 105.30 crore), State Bank of India (Rs 81.33 crore) and Zee Entertainment (Rs 81.11 crore) were trading as the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in morning trade on Wednesday.

Shares of Maruti Suzuki (Rs 75.23 crore), Mahindra & Mahindra (Rs 68.50 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 66.03 crore), Motherson Sumi (Rs 65.19 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 61.25 crore), Tata Motors (Rs 59.96 crore), Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 51.45 crore) and Infosys (Rs 48.25 crore) were also among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE.

Domestic equity markets opened higher on Wednesday following global cues.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.80 points up at 10,355, while BSE Sensex was up 117 points at 33,596 around 09:50 am (IST).

In the Nifty index, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ambuja Cements, Housing Development Finance Corporation, Bajaj Auto and UltraTech Cement were trading among the top gainers.

However, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Bharti Infratel, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were among the top losers.

In the Nifty50 pack, 24 stocks were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
