Robbers thrash two women, take away gold ornaments worth Rs 3.95 lakh

RAJKOT: Two unidentified persons barged into the house of an irrigation department employee in Junagadh and robbed gold ornaments worth Rs 3.95 lakh on Monday. They also thrashed his wife and daughter-in-law before carrying out the robbery.


Employee Dhiraj Pagdar told police that his wife Pravina (45) and daughter-in-law Pooja (23) were at home in Trimurtinagar in Joshipura area of the town. B-division police station is investigating the case.
