• BLACK FRIDAY NEWS UPDATE: Argos has revealed its official Black Friday deals will begin early this year with the sales starting a 9pm TONIGHT.
Mark Steel, Digital Director at Argos, said: “Last year we saw enormous volumes of traffic on our website and Argos apps during the Thursday evening before Black Friday as customers started to hunt for the big bargains.
“This told us there was a clear appetite from our customers to snap up deals that evening and that’s why we’ve decided to launch three hours early this year."
• DEAL UPDATE: Argos has just added more offers to its Black Friday sales including the Xbox One at its lowest ever price and 10 per cent off Apple Macs.
Mobiles.co.uk has also just announced new offers on the iPhone 8, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 with prices starting from just £29 per month.
These deals will end tomorrow with new offers expected to go live on Black Friday.
ORIGINAL STORY: Black Friday 2017 is just two days away with some of the UK’s biggest retailers expected to slash prices to record lows.
The official deals start on November 24 but many stores including Amazon, Argos and Currys have already begun offering discounts with early pre-Black Friday sales.
These reductions have seen smart speakers, TVs, headphones and tablets dropped by as much as 50 per cent with Amazon’s award-winning Echo currently its lowest price ever.
More deals are likely to go live in the coming hours with the biggest offers set to revealed at midnight on Friday.
