Film stars, movie makers can’t play with people's sentiments: Akhada

With opponents and supporters of the movie ‘Padmavati’ continuing to voice their opinions and demand, the prominent body of the religious fraternity- the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad is not keeping silent either. When asked about the ongoing row over the alleged tampering of historical facts in the movie, the Akhada Parishad said that the film stars and movie makers will not be allowed to play with the people's sentiments.

Speaking to The Pioneer, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad president Mahant Narendra Giri said, “We Hindus revere Rani Padmini. No one would be allowed to dramatise the real character of the queen. If someone would play with the sentiments of the Hindus, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad will react to it. The producer of this movie- Sanjay Leela Bhansali must get  nod from the historians before showing anything to the people,” the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad president further opined.

As per an observer in Haridwar, the movie in question has got so much of publicity even before its release that everyone wishes to talk about .
