CHANDIGARH: Suvichaar Think Tank in association with Hansraj Public School organised a one-day seminar for the students. During the event, the students got the opportunity to put forward their views on socially-relevant issues and how to contribute to the society in their own way.
Present on the occasion was VK Kapoor, Ashok Tandon and Vivek Atray, all members of Suvichaar Think Tank. They shared their views on how to take care of the elderly citizens of the society. They also encouraged the students with their motivational talk.
Students of class X — Kompal Ahluwalia, Manan Verma and Rahul Sharma — shared their views and the guests appreciated them. They exchanged opinions on topics such as 'caring for the elderly', 'standing up against pollution' and 'expanding the green area'. The views put forward were discussed at length by the members and the students.
"I am happy with the students and how they are sensitivity towards the social causes. I am now confident that the world is in safe hands," said Atray.
"We work to provide opportunities for the holistic development of the students", said principal Jaya Bhardwaj. She assured that more such programmes will be taken conducted in the future.
