Students perform traditional dances

As a part of the 92nd jayanti celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, students presented a number of cultural programmes on the second day on Monday.

The day began with ‘Omkaram’ and ‘Nagara Sankirtana’ in the morning.

The reciting of the Vedas and ‘ashtottaram’ by students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar Bala Vikas was followed by discourse of A. Jaya Kameswari. Students performed a skit and dance on Lord Ganesa. Students of various samitis presented a dance on mother, rendered bhajans and dances on Indian traditions.

Convener P.R.S.N. Naidu, other office-bearers and teachers participated.
